Albert was the Secretary of the Chapter of our Lady and S. Peter, Higham Ferrers. 

He had been a member of the Guild since 1926 and was one of the first acolytes when the Sung Mass was started in the 1920's.

In later years he could not get to the Sunday Mass, but served at the Thursday morning Mass at S. Mary's until two years ago when he found walking difficult. 

A requiem was held at S. Mary the Virgin, Higham Ferrers attended by the Secretary General and members of the local Chapter. 

He leaves a wife, son and two grandchildern. May he rest in peace.
