Ron Pike was known to many for his role as assistant organist to the Guild Choir AND Fr Treadwell. He was Chairman and Chapter organist for the St Alban and St Michael Chapter based at Letchworth.
Ron combined many roles at St Michael and All Angels where at one time he was Organist, Head Server and Churchwarden concurrently. He was also involved with the Scouting in the area.
During his eighty years of service he also was one H.M. Inspector of Taxes.
The chapter accounts were closely monitored!
